PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PETITION OF KIM ERIC ACTON AND IDA ELIZABETH ACTON TO DISCONNECT LANDS FROM THE TOWN OF BLUFF PURSUANT TO SECTION 10-2-501 OF THE UTAH CODE ANNOTATED.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PETITION OF KIM ERIC ACTON AND IDA ELIZABETH ACTON TO DISCONNECT LANDS FROM THE TOWN OF BLUFF PURSUANT TO SECTION 10-2-501 OF THE UTAH CODE ANNOTATED.

Notice is hereby given that the Bluff Town Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bluff Community Center, 190 North 3rd East, Bluff, Utah, 84512 to hear written or oral comments and testimony from interested persons with respect to a petition to disconnect lands from the Town of Bluff. The original petition, dated May 5, 2023, sought to disconnect 9,514 acres from the Town of Bluff; the Town previously denied that request. At the public hearing, the Town Council will reconsider whether the following lands, totaling 640 acres of private land, should be disconnected from Town of Bluff municipal jurisdiction: Section 16, Township 40 South, Range 22 East, SLM, County of San Juan, State of Utah.
